Dogs- How to establish a good relationship with your dogs.

I have a pet dog and he usually entertains me by either chasing his tail or going round and round or by snatching my hand kerchief from my hand and to hide it under a sofa. Well before my pet came into my life, my first thought was that he would be my body guard, he would have to answer my commands and I have a right to beat him if he does some naughty. Not only me but I feel that a lot of people who still have no experience in having pets will feel like this. Well I later regretted my decision, for because when I had seen my dog entering into my house first time, I realized that he was feeling insecure and he was eyeing on me and my parents for comforts. He was at that time was barely 5 weeks old. The moment he first entered into my house, he went and hid inside the sofa and he was crying. My mother used to hate dogs at that time and she had no experience in handling the pets, so she started to train him with her own methods, like for example locking in a room during night time and guests, which I feel is one of the biggest mistake to train a dog. But luckily she stopped it and she let him loose in our room and he was given more liberty. Thanks to this method, I have a lovable, adorable, jealous and a loyal dog. I will give you some few tips to establish a good relationship between dogs.

1)    Allow your dog to be free.

People feel that putting a dog on leash or locking in a room will make dog more obedient and disciplined. NEVER EVER DO THAT. Because it will make your dogs more aggressive and more restless and such dogs tend to bite/attack your neighbours or visitors.  Remember one thing that freedom is one of the important aspects that will mould the character of the dog. This freedom must be given from the beginning, when it is a small pup. Allow your dog to explore your house. This will give him a feeling that it is a part of a home not his work house. This move will make more loyal to the family as well as the house. You must be aware that dog is a part of a family and not a SERVANT.

2)   Love and pamper.

Well it is really good if you love your dog by patting him, pampering him; call him in a sweet voice and giving him some snacks in between. These all treatment will make your dog more happy and loyal to you. Also you must play with him so that your dog will enjoy your company. (We usually give him plastic bottles, and he enjoys by crushing it. Money saver and conservation of the environment!

3)   Give in some treats.

My dog usually hates to bath, so he creates a big commotion by growling, running and by hiding inside the sofa. But after the bath we always give him a bowl of milk (as a sign of encouragement) which he really enjoys. Also my dog hates the combing session, so in order to keep him quite we give him dog sticks while combing. In this way he really becomes calm and also will forget the unpleasant experience.

4)   Never leave your dog alone in your house.

Try to avoid doing such things as frequently as possible. After all the dog craves you and he won’t appreciate that you are leaving him alone in the house and having fun!

So my message to you dog lovers that treat your dog as your kin!

Animal Testing: A virtual hell to animals.

Animal Testing: A torture for animals?

Well basically, we use our intelligence to satisfy our needs and wants, but don't you think that animals have right to live in spite of its low intelligence. We use animals (or to be precise to 'harm') them for food, entertainment and labs where in many cases they are being mistreated. Well today I will focus on the vices of the animal testing.
In the present scenario, animals are been mistreated in labs and research practices  from dissecting animals (which is at student levels) to draize test ( which is a test conducted on rabbits, to check whether the cosmetics really affects the eyes, animals are killed or mutilated for the basis of research work. Even though most of the animals meant for the dissection are drugged, before being dissected, don't you think that animals have right to live? To rip their bodies just to check whether how their hearts and lungs work, we really don't have right to take life of an innocent creature which didn't do any harm to us. Well our law must ban all the live dissection and must promote the virtual dissection. That saves lots of animals from being killed. Of course it will be more expensive to set up all the necessary things, but
